Aldi to sell limited-edition artwork by Princess Delphine for charity

08:14 23/09/2026

Budget supermarket chain Aldi will be selling reproductions of an exclusive artwork by Princess Delphine as part of a charity campaign for young people.

The artwork goes on sale this Saturday and will be priced at €24.99.

Advertised as being in limited stock, sales will be restricted to one item per person.

The artwork itself will be unveiled by the Warme William charity on Wednesday in Ghent. It is a mural for which Delphine drew inspiration from the stories of seven young people from the city about their mental wellbeing.

This is not the first time Aldi has collaborated with an artist for a charitable initiative. In 2024, the retailer sold a piece by Flemish artist Koen Vanmechelen, also priced at €24.99.

Warme William is a Flemish charity that raises awareness about the mental wellbeing of young people. Princess Delphine has been committed to the organisation for some time.

It has a special focus on promoting friendships between young people as a means to safeguard mental health, citing research into relationships among Flemish youths which found that the number of young people who regularly talk about problems or concerns decreased from 51% in 2019 to 44% in 2023.

For girls in particular, the figures were worse, declining from 55% in 2019 to 39% today.
