Maddie McCann appeal truck tours Belgium

A truck decorated with photos of the missing British girl Madeleine McCann and appealing for information has begun touring again in Belgium. Madeleine, known as Maddie, disappeared while on holiday with her parents in Portugal in May 2007, aged three years old at the time.

The truck previously appeared in Belgium in 2010, this time with photos which have been digitally enhanced to show what Maddie might look like now, at age nine. The truck bears the slogan “Still missing. Still out there. Still needs your help” and the address of the appeal website (www.findmadeleine.com).

Recently police leading the investigation in the UK released photofit pictures of people they would like to interview. The police in Portugal closed the case in 2008 without a result, but recently said they would re-open the investigation in the light of new witness information.
