Darth Vader and Co spotted on Brussels metro
Brussels public transport users on Sunday were treated to an extraordinary sight: Darth Vader and dozens of Stormtroopers riding the metro between De Brouckère and Parc. The officially recognised group of science fiction fans attend the Brussels Comic Strip Festival every year dressed as characters from the famous film series Star Wars, writes Bruzz.
The gang of Star Wars characters was en route to the annual festival, which last weekend drew 90,000 visitors to the Royal Park. Instead of arriving in a Sentinel-class landing craft, the fighters decided to complete the last leg of their journey by metro.
Brussels public transport company STIB took advantage of the opportunity to post videos of the unusual sight on its Facebook page, showing Darth Vader and his party as they arrive at metro station De Brouckère.
