Park pop-up bars reopen for the summer
Five of Brussels' pop-up bars in parks are reopening ahead of the summer season.
The guinguettes are an initiative by regional parks agency Bruxelles Environnement and are back for a third year.
As well as serving drinks and local organic food, they will also be the venue for activities from yoga and dance classes to concerts, organised with the local community.
In the EU district, the Guinguette Maurice reopens in Cinquantenaire park on Wednesday lunchtime. On Saturday, Guinguettes Emile and Gisèle will reopen in Parc Duden and the Abbaye de la Cambre.
Guinguette Henri, in the Georges Henri Park, and Guinguette Fabiola in Jette's Baudouin Park are due to open from 18 May.
They will be open seven days a week from 11.00 to 22.00 until the end of the summer.
