10:47 31/03/2024

Six new routes have been added to Brussels South Charleroi Airport’s summer schedule for 2024, the airport has announced.

The launch of the high season from 31 March to 27 October sees destinations in Ireland, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Sweden, Italy, Croatia and a Portuguese town in the Azores archipelago, being served by the Walloon airport.

All of the six following new routes are operated by Ryanair: Cork, Sarajevo, Gothenburg, Olbia, Dubrovnik and Ponta Delgada.

A total of five airlines run scheduled flights from Brussels-Charleroi. In addition to the Ryanair Group, they are Wizzair, Air Corsica, Pegasus Airlines and Volotea.

The switch from winter to summer schedules is a period when airlines adjust their flight plans, including routes, capacity and seats, to reflect the increased seasonal demand for travel.
