Stib unveils makeover to entrance of Porte de Namur metro station

Brussels’ public transport operator Stib has revamped the entrance to the Porte de Namur metro station.

“Its aim is to create a new, friendly and high-quality public space in the district,” STIB announced on X on Monday.

“The refurbishment of the entrance to this metro station is part of the redevelopment project for the Square du Bastion,” it continued. 

The redesign of the station entrance on Avenue de la Toison d’Or features transparent glass facades surrounding the escalators that access the metro line.
