Street food comes to Brussels
The City of Brussels has identified 15 potential sites for mobile food stalls, or food trucks. The sites are located mainly in the centre, but also in the North, at the end of Avenue Louise/Louizaan and Neder-Over-Heembeek. Food truck managers can submit their applications until the end of April.
Last fall, Marion Lemesre, the councillor responsible for business in central Brussels, already announced her desire to replace the city’s traditional fry and waffle stands with modern-day food trucks. In October, she even went ahead and laid down a set of new rules for street trading.
Candidates wishing to set up a food truck in the centre of Brussels will have to show that they "offer a healthy and delicious meal for street food lovers," says Lemesre. Candidates must also satisfy a number of criteria, including the use of quality products and environmentally friendly packaging.

There's been a vibrant street food scene in Brussels for centuries. I think a more correct title would be "Food trucks come to Brussels."
What about newcomers interested in such a venture? Is there a link to apply for this? Thank you
