Uber sells ice cream today in Brussels
Uber, the app that “connects drivers with passengers at the touch of a button” is in the ice cream delivery business for one day only. Uber launched its popular annual ice cream day several years ago. Last year, 33 cities around the world enjoyed ice cream on demand via Uber. This year, that number increases to 144 cities in 38 countries. Somewhat surprisingly, Brussels makes the list in spite of recent rumblings over Uber’s taxi app, recently banned in the city.
This afternoon in Brussels, between 14.00 and 19.00, Uber will send an ice cream truck to you and your mates or colleagues. Open the Uber app to order for at least 6 orders of ice cream, which cost altogether €25, or just over €4 per cone or cup. The ice cream truck serves a range of flavours from artisanal Belgian ice creamery Capoue. Good timing with today’s tropical weather.
