Full Circle’s Festival of Ideas returns to Brussels from 1 to 3 December
Brussels’ highly anticipated Festival of Ideas returns for its second edition from 1 to 3 December.
Offering a unique blend of cultural enjoyment and intellectual engagement, the three-day extravaganza is centred on the theme of ‘Hope’.
This year’s highlights include thought-provoking talks by authors and academics with appearances from Richard Fisher, Peter Turchin, Gaia Vince and William Sieghart.
The invited speakers will be covering a diverse range of topics, such as climate science, AI, literature, complexity theory, peacebuilding and more.
As ever with Full Circle, the festival is an interactive experience with discussion and conversation encouraged.
A Creative Writing Contest (entries by 24 November) invites literary submissions on the topic of ‘Hope’. The winner will be announced at the festival.
Otherwise, participants can enjoy a festive atmosphere, explore a bookshop, taste gourmet food and drink and listen to live jazz and classical music.
As usual, events are open and inclusive to all, with the Young Ideas Festival catering to students aged 14-19. Day and weekend passes are available, with reduced rates and free tickets offered to those in financial difficulty.
The festival is hosted in the Full Circle House in Ixelles, an elegant and sophisticated venue that hosts year-round activities for its members.
