Hop aboard the Santa tram in Brussels during the holiday season
Brussels’ traditional Christmas tram is trundling along the streets of the capital during the festive season.
The service operated by public transport network Stib is running on five lines until 4 January.
Festooned in red, green and gold decor for the occasion, the tram also boasts Christmas illuminations.
A highlight is an opportunity for children and adults to meet Santa Claus on board the tram on Line 92 on 17 December from 12.30 to 14.30, and on 20 December from 13.00 to 15.00.

In addition, several stops will be accompanied by musical announcements: Christmas carols sung by the Stib choir AkoeSTIB.
Follow Stib’s social media channels and WhatsApp for full information of its programme and special stops.
Passengers can have their gifts wrapped for free at Rogier station, next to the KIOSK sale point, between 11 and 23 December from 11.00 to 15.00. It also offers original gifts: miniature vehicles, items created from recycled Stib materials and objects featuring the network map. The new LEGO® brick electric bus is also on sale.
