New Year’s eve in Brussels: DJ set, laser mapping and fireworks at the Atomium

11:45 27/12/2024

Brussels will ring in 2025 with a DJ party and festive firework display at the Atomium on New Year’s eve.

The celebrations at the foot of the landmark site in Laeken on 31 December are set to light up the night sky over the capital.

They kick off at 21.00 with a DJ set by Chez Ginette, followed by a laser mapping of the Atomium’s iconic spheres at 23.50. The evening’s finale is a spectacular pyrotechnic display at the stroke of midnight.

Spectators are invited to use public transport to attend the event. As checks will be carried at the entrances to the site, they are advised not to bring bags, suitcases or umbrellas. Glass bottles, potentially dangerous objects and pyrotechnics, including firecrackers, are also banned.
