BANAD Festival attracts some 20,000 visitors to its Art Deco themed edition

The Brussels Art Nouveau Art Deco (BANAD) Festival drew 20,000 visitors tor its 9th edition, organiser Explore.Brussels has announced.

A highlight of the capital’s 2025 Art Deco year, it was spread over three weekends between 15 and 30 March and across three zones in the Brussels Region.

As ever, the festival boasted a varied programme centred on tours of exceptional venues usually closed to the public, which were attended by 17,763 people.

It also offered themed guided tours on foot or by bike, talks, inclusive and family activities, and the famous Object Fair and Restorers & Experts Fair, which welcomed 2,821 visitors.

The next edition of BANAD will be held from 14 to 29 March 2026. In the meantime, tours of Art Nouveau and Art Deco buildings continue throughout the year. On the programme are the Haerens, Van Eetvelde, Devalck, van Buuren, Riez, Cohn-Donnay, Empain, Tassel, Van Der Elst, Solvay, Marit, Max Hallet and Roosenboom homes and mansions, among others.

Explore.Brussels is a network of guided tour associations active in the Brussels Region: ARAU, Arkadia, Bruxelles Bavard and Pro Velo.
