Sign up now for the mobile sauna at Brussels Park this Saturday
Rarely have we been told to bring a bathing suit along when we go to Brussels Park, but that’s what you should do this Saturday, 17 July. A mobile sauna is being set up, where you can work up a good sweat free of charge.
The sauna, dubbed ‘Koti’ – which means ‘home’ or ‘house’ in Finnish – is the brainchild of Anna Omena. The French-Finnish entrepreneur created Koti to allow Brussels residents to discover the benefits of sweating it out in a sauna.
Koti will be stationed in next to the summertime Kiosk Radio in the park from 13.00 to 19.30, and participants must reserve a slot in advance. Up to 10 people can normally take to Koti at once, but Omena is limiting it to six because of corona.
There is a changing room on site, and participants are asked to bring a towel. Bathing suits are required.
Kiosk will be spinning tunes, meanwhile, and sauna-goers will also get the chance to taste L’Ermitage brewing’s beer Sona, an IPA brewed in collaboration with Kiosk.
