Stromae cancels all concerts until end of May
Belgian music star Stromae has announced the cancellation of all of his upcoming concerts until the end of May due to illness.
Some 15 dates in April and May have been cancelled, including appearances in Amsterdam, Rome and at the Wembley O2 Arena in London.
The musician's concert dates in June, and a range of summer festival performances including Rock Werchter, remain scheduled for now.
Announcing the cancellation on Instagram, Stromae said: "I have come to the realisation that my current health does not allow me to come and meet all of you at the moment.
"I regretfully share this news with you, which fills me with sadness, but I have to admit my limits."
He said he planned to "take the time to get better", surrounded by family, and would keep fans updated as soon as possible.
"I can't wait to see you again to finish this tour, surrounded by the teams who have accompanied me for all these years," he added.
Anyone with a ticket for an upcoming Stromae concert can apply for a full refund from the point of sale.
Stromae marked his musical comeback last year, after six years of absence, with a full year of touring which began last February.
He had suffered from burnout in 2015 after a previous tour saw him perform 200 concerts in two years.
