Tram services on lines 7 and 25 return to normal on Wednesday morning, after almost a week of disruption due to a collapsed road surface.
Stib said repair works on Boulevard Louis Schmidt, outside Pétillon metro station, had been completed and trams could now run again between Pétillon and Meiser.
Replacement bus services had been operating since last week, after a sinkhole appeared in the road due to a water leak.
Vivaqua had initially hoped to complete the job at the weekend, before Monday's back-to-school rush, but repairs proved more complicated than first thought.
