Brussels Muzieque presents family concert ‘Odyssey, Getting Back Home’ on 4 October

The collaborative classic music platform Brussels Muzieque  stages a joyful family concert, Odyssey, Getting Back Home, specially designed for babies and young children (0+) on 4 October.

In this interactive 45-minute musical adventure by top professional musicians, children and parents will set sail on an epic journey inspired by Homer’s Odyssey.

Together with Odysseus and his brave companions, young audience members will cross stormy seas, meet mythical creatures, visit mysterious islands and follow the call of home. Along the way, children will be invited to sing, clap, move, laugh, imagine and actively take part in the story.

Through storytelling, audience participation, colourful characters and memorable melodies, families will discover the magic of live classical music together — and the joy of finding the way back home.

The concert will be performed by: Matteo Del Monte, principal flute, La Monnaie / De Munt; Marta Jakubiecna, narration and musical guidance, founder Do-Re-Mi Music School; Monika Młynarczyk, co-principal viola, La Monnaie / De Munt; Eduardo Tonietto, cello, founder & artistic director, Brussels Muzieque.

Tickets are priced at €18 for adults ,€12 for children.
