Queer folk Comedy & Dance Party in Brussels on 22 August
Audiences are promised a night of “queer bliss” at a one-off comedy and dance party at Grands Carmes in Brussels on 22 August.
Stand-up specialist Insecure & Dangereux has assembled a line-up of Brussels' funniest queer folk for a night of hilarity and sexy beats. It is also teaming up with DJ PiDeNi to spin the discs to entice everyone on to their feet.
Says show producer and MC Niamh Moroney: “Brussels is home to a massive community of female and non-binary comics. Now for one night only we have gathered the gang and invited them to put on a line up of their very own.”
The comedy line-up boasts CK Brown, Marlies Verschueren, Dr Asutra, Alyce Sevink, Iris Costrop and DENA.
Tickets to the event are ‘pay what you can’ with a suggested price tag of €7 to €15. “If you feel you cannot afford a ticket but would like to come to the show, DM us and we'll figure it out,” adds Moroney. “We mean it when we say everyone is welcome! We need you there, team.”
She offers special thanks to Maxym at Queertastic Comedy for his help on this show and the Grand Carmes for hosting the event.
Insecure & Dangereux has previous form in the EU capital, having staged shows at venues such as The Funky Monkey, Muntpunt, The Black Sheep and Au Bassin.
