Belgium is set to experience another heatwave this week - with temperatures in excess of 35°C, forecasters say.
The Royal Meteorological Institute has launched an "orange" alert for high temperatures from Tuesday morning.
Tuesday's peak temperature is expected to be around 33°C inland and 28°C on the Belgian coast. On Wednesday, temperatures will hit 33 to 37°C, and potentially 38-39°C on Thursday.
The all-time record at Uccle observatory was 38.8°C on 27 June 1947 - but this has since been corrected to 36.6°C because a different measurement method was used before 1983.
The second-hottest day in Belgian history was 19 July 2006, where 36.2°C was recorded at Uccle.
