Some 20 US universities confirmed for College Night Brussels 2026 on 23 September

Are you considering studying in the United States, or exploring the possibilities for a family member?

EducationUSA Belgium is hosting the 37th edition of College Night Brussels at the International School of Brussels (ISB) in Watermael-Boitsfort on 23 September, from 18:00 to 20:00.

Although fewer young people are choosing to study in the US, due in part to stricter visa policies and travel restrictions under President Trump, Belgium is bucking the trend.

In 2026, 3.1% more Belgians went to the US to study, with the number rising from 918 in 2025 to 946 in 2026, according to the latest figures from the U.S. Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS).

For Wednesday evening’s gathering, around 20 universities will be on site to introduce their programmes, answer questions and help students explore the wide range of academic opportunities available in the United States.

Whether you are just beginning your search or already preparing an application, all students interested in studying there are warmly invited to attend.

The evening will start with a short discussion by representatives from EducationUSA Belgium about finding the right fit, completing your application and financing your studies.

Attendees can then visit the exhibition stalls of approximately 20 American universities and organisations.
