13:38 02/12/2022

Pocket-sized Brussels 2023 is the new edition of the English-language cultural guide offering 100 ideas for cultural events and outings in the capital.

The cultural hotlist 100 is a fun and practical book that will accompany arts lovers all-year-round. It’s packed with must-see exhibitions, festivals and events, selected by culture journalists in Brussels, including Bulletin writers.

Among its agenda highlights, is the 130th anniversary of Art Nouveau. Many architectural gems will be opening their doors in 2023, including seven Victor Horta masterpieces. Dazzling collections will also be going on display in some 13 exhibitions staged in the city. Among them is Halles Saint-Gery, which will focus its entire annual programme on the 20th-century architectural and decorative style founded in the Belgian capital.

The Brussels 2023 guide is aimed at Brussels residents, expats and all visitors to the city who want to discover and understand the city.

Events, shows, festivals and exhibitions have been selected for their quality and originality, while a monthly guide ensures readers don’t miss out on any of the happenings. Contributors also reveal some of their favourite, sometimes secret places in the city. The result is a unique guide that shows why Brussels is one of Europe’s top culture destinations.

Brussels 2023. The cultural hotlist 100 is published by the Foundation for the Arts in collaboration with visit.brussels and with the support of the Brussels-Capital Region. It’s available for €10 from visit.brussels and bookstores around the city.
